The first three Mortal Kombat games are some of the most iconic fighting games of all time, both because of their gameplay and because of the controversy that followed them. The Mortal Kombat series is still going strong to this day, but it may not be long before we it revisit its roots through the Mortal Kombat Kollection, a remastered compilation of the first three games in the franchise.

The Mortal Kombat Kollection is actually something that’s been rumored for a number of years at this point. Once thought to be cancelled, Gematsu has found a PEGI rating for a game called Mortal Kombat Kollection Online. PEGI, as many of you know, is more or less the European equivalent of the ESRB here in the United States.

There wasn’t a ton of information contained in this PEGI listing, aside from a blurb and an unsurprising rating of PEGI 18. That blurb, however, does shed some light on what we can expect from this compilation:

Mortal Kombat Kollection Online is the original Mortal Kombat trilogy that Mortal Kombat fans always wanted. Upgraded art, gameplay, and online features provide an incredible experience that revive the “klassics”…

So, it looks like not only will the first three games be remastered, but we’ll also see online play too. The listing also says that Mortal Kombat Kollection Online will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch, so basically all modern platforms aside from mobile devices.

That’s all we’re getting from the PEGI listing, so it seems we’ll have to wait for Warner Bros. Interactive and NetherRealm to actually confirm Mortal Kombat Kollection Online before we learn more. Granted, a listing with PEGI doesn’t guarantee that such an announcement is coming, but it is a pretty good indication that this game is on the way. Stay tuned.

Mortal Kombat

Successfully complete the game. When 'The End' message appears, quickly hold Up/Left + Back + X until the title screen appears. Press Start to start a new game as Goro.

Select any character, and defeat Shang Tsung. When he releases all the fighters' souls, hold L1 + R1 when Sub-Zero appears. Keep holding the buttons until the title screen appears. Start a new game. At the fighter selection screen, Reptile's face will be at the top middle of the fighter selection screen.

Mortal Kombat 2

When you are at the match that is just before the '?' on the match chart, you can fight Jade if the following requirements are met. One of the rounds must be won using only Low Kicks and the D-pad. The other round can be won normally. Once you meet all those requirements, you will fight Jade at 'Goro's Lair'.

When in a two player game, you can fight Noob Saibot if the following requirements are met. 50 matches must be won in a row. All of those 50 matches must be won in Two Player mode. Once you meet all these requirements, you will fight Noob Saibot at 'Goro's Lair'.

When fighting on 'The Portal' stage in a one or two player game, you can fight Smoke if the following requirements are met. Dan Forden must appear at the bottom of the screen and yell 'Toasty!'. Hold Down + Start immediately after you see Dan Forden. Once you meet all these requirements, you will fight Smoke at 'Goro's Lair'. Note: Dan Forden will only appear after an uppercut. His appearance after an uppercut is random.

Perform a stage fatality on the 'Kombat Tomb' stage. After the music hits, hold Down on both controllers.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3

Select Cyber-Smoke, then choose your ladder, and immediately hold Left + HP + HK + Run + Block until the match starts. You will turn into Human Smoke as player one and remain in that form until you lose. To play as Human Smoke as player two, hold Right + HP + HK + Run + Block.

After you lose on the ladder or complete the ladder, the game will prompt you to enter a code. Enter one of the following codes to unlock the corresponding character. Note: The new characters will be permanently unlocked.

During the 'Hell Pit' fatality, hold the indicated buttons. Hold both HP buttons to hear Dan Forden say 'Crispy!'. Hold both Run buttons to hear Shao Kahn say 'Crispy!'.

At the 'Select Your Fighter' screen, press Up + X.

Enter the following codes at the versus screen before a battle starts. The numbers represent how many times a certain button is pressed.

First number: Player one X
Second number: Player one R1
Third number: Player one Circle
Fourth number: Player two X
Fifth number: Player two R1
Sixth number: Player two Circle
